30 Days of Truth, Day 14.

Day 14 → A hero that has let you down. (letter)

Though I'd love to write some heartfelt letter to someone who I idolized that has let me down I can't. My Uncle Jimmy was my hero, and he never once let me down. He was the greatest man I've ever known. I truly idolized him.

I'll never forget getting in trouble in my freshman year of high school. I wasn't worried about telling my Mom or Dad, I was worried about telling my Uncle Jimmy. I made my Mom bring me straight to his house after I got suspended so I could tell him. I cried as I told him everything that happened. When I was finished he asked me if I'd learned my lesson. That was all he said.

He was amazing. Uncle Jimmy passed away last year. After his third bout of cancer and a kidney transplant. The man was tough!! I miss him!

I know I've been pretty absent here. I've been really busy working on some graphics for a group that I'm a member of. I'm hoping to finish those today! Then I can get back to blogging! Hope you're all well!

And the graphics so far are AMAZING!!!

Sorry you lost your favorite uncle last year. I lost mine to leukemia last year. I will be going to a memorial BBQ in his honor this weekend.
