I've had a great trip home, other than falling and breaking one of my ribs (fractured 4 others) and gave myself a black eye lol. I've spent a lot of time with my Sisters and my Dad, I've spent some precious moments with my Aunt Betty who I hadn't seen in 11 years. It's been great.
But...I miss my hubby. And my (Bebe's kids) dogs. I miss my home, I miss my bed. Did I mention that I miss my hubby? Lol...
This weekend is the World Championship Gumbo cookoff in New Iberia. I'm really looking forward to going to that!
I didn't get to meet any of my bloggy people that I was planning on meeting while I was done here, that has been a bummer but I totally understand that life sometimes gets in the way!!
To my BBM bishes, I miss you girls! Can't wait to get back to my "old routine!" Lol...
So on Monday morning I'll board a plane to fly home. As much as I hate leaving my family, I can't wait to get back to my (other) family!

Omg, girl, so sorry to hear about your ribs and eye! What a terrible thing to happen! Hope that you're feeling better, now! I didn't realize that you were still in town! Sorry that I didn't make it to the Sugarcane Festival. I would love to go to the Gumbo Cook-Off, but I'm having a house full of company for the weekend, for Festival Acadiens. Wish that you could make it to Lafayette for that! Hopefully, we'll run into each other, either here or there!
