Happy Mother's Day....

This time of year is such a mixed bag for me. It makes me realize how much I miss my Son. It also makes me realize how much I miss my Mom. It's not usually a "happy" day for me.

Don and I were invited to go to Bush Gardens with his ex (we get along great, she's a really cool chick!), his daughters and his daughters husband. I really wanted to go but Don is so exhausted we decided to spend the day at home. I worry about him, working these two jobs. The man only gets 4 hours of sleep a night M-F. So....we're gonna grill up some steaks, I'm gonna have me a beer or two (hehehe) and just relax.

We've got a busy day tomorrow. We've gotta be in Va Beach at 8am (means we gotta get up at like 7), One of his friends works for a landscaping business, so he's gonna go pick up 20 juniper bushes...he's getting a really good deal on them. He uses them to do bonsai trees with.  I'm not sure what he's going to do with all of them. He's been talking about teaching some classes so maybe he'll do that. Though I don't know when he' have time to! lol...

Then we're gonna go watch Don's nephews baseball game. My SIL picked up a huge bottle of the Paul Mitchell hair gel that I use because I couldn't find it at the store I normally but it at here. And cause SIL gets a good discount on it lol. Then we've gotta be back down here

Don has promised me that we'll all plan a trip to Bush Gardens another time. But hell...we usually like to try to go at the first sign of warm weather if not we don't go until late October. It's just too damn hot and too many people!

I was up all night again. Yeah! Again! I don't know what in the hell is going on with that but it's happening way too much lately!
