Someone's in the dog house, and it's not me!

March 4, 2010

Mr Man is in trouble. There have been several occasions that I've asked him to wake me up before he leaves for work (he leaves at 6). HE.NEVER.DOES. So this morning when I woke up (at 10 efiin' 30) I sent him a text message saying "I'm going to beat you, you were supposed to wake me up damn it!" His reply "You needed a break!" Seriously?? First of all, if I need a break...trust that I will take one. Best believe. Secondly...I ASKED YOU TO WAKE ME THE FUCK UP DAMN IT!"

Sleeping until 10:30 ruins my day. Half my damn day is gone. I like getting up early. It gives me time to sit in from of my computer all day if I'd like for a couple of hours reading blogs before I get up and get started on the house. Not to mention that waking up at 10:30 when I expected to wake up at 6 makes for a very cranky bitch when you get home. We you don't want that.

When he asks to sleep until 11 (no later!) on the weekends when he has two days off from his two jobs what do I do? I wake him up at 11. I don't let him sleep until two because he "must need the sleep!" Some one's in the dog house and it's not me. Speaking of dogs...I have a cute video and a hilarious story about our pugs that I want to tell you about (show you the video) but first I have to say this.

I've read a couple of blogs (can't remember which ones) that have talked about how people can't spell (in their blogs), can't use correct punctuation, can't form correct sentences, etc.. All I have to say is stop reading my blog damn it! Lol...really in case you haven't noticed I am incapable of all of the above. Lol. I've learned to deal with it. Is spelling and/or punctuation really all that important to you?? Is that what you have to vent about? If so...I want your life!!

OK I'm being a smart ass, but it's true...I screw up on all of those things on a daily basis. I don't think that we should tear each other apart though. I mean, wouldn't you feel like a fool if you were talking about someone who has dyslexia, or any other kind of learning disability? Or if you're talking about someone who has an 8th grade education? Just sayin...

Now...on to the dogs! I've told you all many times about my dogs and how they snore. Yesterday I even talked about how they snore so loud that sometimes I have to turn the TV up. Well it happened again this morning, and my camera just happened to be sitting right there, so I recorded Bonsai just so you could see what I mean!!

Lmao...I love at the end how her ear starts twitching! Have you ever seen a pugs tail?

(seriously do not google pugs, it'll make you want one! A cute little black one.)

If you notice in the video Gidgette's tail is sticking straight out. That's how I can tell if they're really sleeping lol. Yup...that's my old ratty ass robe that they're sleeping on! Seriously...I can't leave my robe laying on the couch, they will be laying on it before you can turn around! So when I got a new one, I gave them my old one.

Onto the story...Bonsai (the one snoring) doesn't bark. We've heard her bark three or four times. Our other dog Gidgette barks at everything! I swear she see's dead people. Lol...she just stands there and barks at nothing. And forget about it if she see's any kind of an animal on TV!! She runs to the side of the TV waiting for the animal to come out of the side of the TV!
Anybarking, Bonsai has bad dreams. I know that sounds hilarious but it's true. She will start yipping in her sleep. On two separate occasions she has started yipping in her sleep and then she'll just jump up and start barking and yipping like she's been hit by a car or something...you'd swear she's dying!!

Anypug...they used to sleep with us. (yeah what the fuck were we thinking??) And hubby and I sleep nude. Well, one night (it's like 2am!) Bonsai jumps up in bed and starts yipping like she's dying. Well that freaks Gidgette out and she jumps up growling and they start fighting. Which in turn wakes hubby up! (Lmfao I wish you could see how hard I'm laughing just writing this!!) He jumps up, dick swinging in the breeze (I'll keep that video to myself tyvm), and starts yelling "hey hey hey hey!!!" All I could do was lay in bed and laugh my fuckin' ass off!! It was a sight!! Maybe you had to be there....

That's my story for today. Have a great day!!

I'll out myself in case it wasn't me but I do have a post where I mention how much it drives me crazy when people use the "wrong" word. For example, my boss says "supposably" instead of supposedly and "pacifically" instead of specifically....argh! Hell we all make spelling and grammar mistakes sometimes. That doesn't bother me but if you post about this wooden shelf you made and that took was some scrap 'food' you found in the garage, then I may comment and thank you for the giggle. Guess what I'm trying to say is sorry if it was me!

I look forward to showing Ward this video. I know what he will say... Sounds like you, June!

Can dogs have sleep apnea? I could swear that dog stopped breathing for a longer period of time than normal!

Good thing one of the dogs didn't take a bite out of Mr.Man's man!!

OHMYGOD! That was freakin' hysterical!! I loved the snoring so much, I replayed it for my son to hear. We have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel...and he snores like a bitch as well.
I loved that part about the tail uncurling when they're sleeping.

And that visual of hubby trying to settle the dogs? Priceless...

I haven't noticed you have bad punctuation, grammar usage, or spelling. And I'm a huge stickler on that because it was my life for two years. So don't you worry!

I hope that you don't let them sleep with you anymore, or at least wear some jammies now!

That's hilarious. I love dogs especially ones that snore and snort. We have a snorting dog. She snores a little bit, but mostly she makes this weird hiccup noise.

Oh my goodness!! My husband did that to me today!! I ASKED HIM to wake me up at 5:30 am! It was 7:30 when I woke up on my own!! Half of my morning is gone!

Your dogs crack me up!! I was laughing so hard! I love the ear twitching!

As for the grammar, I'm bad at it. I really try to spell everything correctly, but heck, when I'm holding my 5 month-old and trying to type with one hand, I don't care!
