Hey all! Hope everyone had a fabulous valentine's day. Mr Man and I went to drop the IL's off and then went to the mall so I could get some jeans for my ever expanding ass lol. We were gonna go out and have dinner but because we had such a late breakfast we decided that we'd just come home and order pizza later in the night.
Let me tell you about the ordeal that was! Mr Man got online and ordered two medium pizzas, a order of wings, order of chessy breadsticks, and an order of pizza rolls (he was hungry lol)! About 45 minutes after we were supposed to get our pizza he called pizza hut to find out where our food was. The girl he spoke with told him the driver was on his way. About 30 minutes after that he shows up with the pizza, once Mr Man got inside with the food he realized that we didn't have the wings. Ok...we can live without them. We get our plates and open the boxes to grab out pizza. This is what we found.

Yes ladies...that IS a half a pizza in each box. And it's not even the kind of pizza we ordered! To say that Mr Man and I were livid was an understatement. Mr Man called pizza Hut AGAIN. He explained to the manager what happened and she explained that they were out of large boxes and that's why we had a half in each medium box. Mr Man explained that we order TWO MEDIUM pizza's and that we didn't even get our wings. So she told him that they would remake our order and send it out asap! THREE hours into this whole ordeal this is what we ended up with.
(Excuse my messy house) So we'll have pizza for a couple of weeks, y'all come on by and have a slice or two! Lol...Honestly I think they should have given us our money back along with the food. We had to call that place a total of four times. We had to wait a total of three plus hours for our dinner. It was just redunkulous!!
All in all we had a nice valentines day though. It was so nice to come home and just have the house to ourselves! We have a week of just us and our dogs. A week of just being able to relax and chill out. We're loving it!

Don't you hate it when they mess up an order? Especially one that is delivered and you either have to go get it yourself, or wait for them to come back out? Maybe it's my crazy OCD side but I pick up an order I check to make sure it's right before I leave - it's their job...can't they do the same? Well, at least you can add no cooking to your relaxing week. Enjoy!
OMG that's just insane. I think after three hours I would have beat someone up! HA

That is insane! Glad you had some profit, though......but the annoyance was greater, I'm sure!
Loll Leiah my hubby is the same way! He wont even go through the drive through because they always mess up the order!

what in the world? half pizza's in a box? the manager who made that call has some serious problem solving skills....his problem solving teacher would tell you that this kid thinks "outside the box"! ;)

Are you sure you don't use the same pizza hut that we use? We waited for over 2 hours for what ended up to be cold pizza one time. They refunded everything but $2.16 delivery charge. WTF? It was because we used a credit card to place or order. They flat out refused to refund that. grrrr

That's crazy!!! They definitely needed to give you your money back in addition to the pizza!
But it sounds like you won't be cooking for a couple days :) That might be the best Valentine's present of all!

You still had to pay??? That is messed up. I gave up on Pizza Hut delivery in my town after too many screw ups. Now we only do pick-up.
