The Downhome Cajun

So hubby left this morning on his trip to Louisiana. His job interview is tomorrow morning. Please, if you're a praying person, say a few for us. Please pray that he gets this job.

He's so excited about this move, which I wasn't expecting. I haven't seen him this excited about anything since our wedding. He actually gets a sparkle in his eye when he talks about it.

He's really excited about getting out of the airplane maintenance field. He's so tired of climbing around inside of airplanes and working on them. This job will be a whole new arena for him.

He's excited about staring up his hobby of fishing again. We've been looking at houses and properties down there. He's excited about being able to do more work with bonsai trees too, since the weather down there is going to be a little "friendlier" to the trees than it is here.

As excited as I am about moving home for all the reasons I want to, I'm just as excited for hubby. I want this just as much for him as I do for myself.  He's happier than I've seen him in a long time.

Please God, please....let them say "you've got the job!"
